Scrambling Routes
Moderate scrambling via south side. Despite its prominence along the Icefields Parkway, as of 1998 this fine viewpoint had seen only a dozen ascents in the previous 10 years. The approach, although not entirely obvious from the road, is straightforward. Considering the number of ascents, it should make a good "getaway" objective. On a clear day the view is absolutely fabulous. Try from about July on. Ice axe required if snowy. Kane, Scrambles in the Canadian Rockies page 299
