First ascended in 1911 by Conrad Kain, guided by Conrad Kain.


Other Information

In 1911, Arthur O. Wheeler described the mountain as "a high peak, which, owing to the rock strata of which it is composed having been tilted to an almost vertical angle, has been named 'Mt. Upright.'"
