Scrambling Routes
Difficulty A moderate scramble via north ridge to southwest side. Mount Murray in the rugged French Creek area is a straightforward scramble with the best part at a short rock band near the top. You ascend an unnamed smaller peak along the way. Most editions of maps do not yet show Mount Murray by the road at coordinates 205230 (bottom of map 82 J/14), and this overlooked peak sees comparatively little activity. Try from July on.
