Named by Alfred J. Ostheimer in 1927. Odell, Noel Ewart (Noel Odell was the British climber who was the last person to see Mallory and Irvine alive on Mt. Everest.) Unofficial name.

First ascended in 1992 by Vic Bell; Doug Miller

Other Information

Noel Ewart Odell (1890-1987) was said to have been acknowledged as one of the great figures of mountaineering history when A.J. Ostheimer named this peak in his honour.
