Klapperhorn Mountain

Located in the Fraser River Valley across south of Mount Robson. Selwyn Range, Mount Robson Park, Major headwater Fraser River.

Named by B.C. Parks in 1972. The mountain is a "classic horn" shape and is also notable for its frequent rockslides which are often heard by people in the vicinity. Official name. Other names Hogan Mountain; MacDonoughs Bluff; Rattling Mountain, Clattering Mountain

The mountain was once known as Hogan Mountain. "Dinny" Hogan was a railway contractor who operated a large camp nearby.
