Named for: McHarg, Lieutenant Colonel Hart (Lt. Col. McHarg practiced Law in Rossland, BC and served in the Boer War before being killed in action in 1915 while leading he 7th Battalion, BC Regiment.) WW I
7th Battalion's Commanding Officer, Lt Col W.F.R. Hart-McHarg, M.I.D. was killed on 24 April 1915 during the 2nd Battle of Ypres.
