Located at the headwaters of Baker Creek 1 km south of Baker Lake
Named by: James F. Porter (a surveyor and alpinist from Chicago)
Named for: Brachiopods and other fossils of the Devonian Period cover the west slopes of this mountain.)
Together with Anthozoan Mountain which lies to the south it, Brachiopod Mountain forms a long north-south oriented ridge to the west of upper Baker Creek.
